Marquette juniors Britain Harris and Kaden Manna received IBCA/Franciscan Health Underclass Small School All-State accolades as announced by the organization Wednesday afternoon.
Harris was one of 15 players selected to the Small School All-State squad after averaging 17.8 points, 5.9 assists, and 4.7 rebounds per game for the 2020-21 Blazers. The junior paced Marquette in three-point shooting with 65 treys. Harris scored 20 or more points on 12 occasions and twice eclipsed 30. He poured in a career-best 34 points on 12-of-18 shooting at Whiting in the semifinals of IHSAA Sectional 33.
Harris converted 74 of his 96 free-throw attempts on the year and recorded four double-doubles, including a 22-point, 12-assist outburst versus South Bend St. Joseph on December 5th.
Manna was named Small School All-State Honorable Mention following a campaign where he averaged 14.1 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per contest. Manna amassed 11 double-doubles on the season, including a show-stopping 21-point, 22-rebound performance at Gary Lighthouse College Prep Academy back on December 17th. That achievement came just 16 days after Manna paired a career-high 32 points with 18 boards at Portage Christian.
