McConnell to Compete in ICGSA North-South All-Star Game

Marquette senior Lauren McConnell was chosen to play in the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association’s (ICGSA) North vs. South All-Star Game on Saturday, June 23rd in Bloomington. McConnell led the Lady Blazer offense in nearly every statistical category this past season. She amassed 33 runs batted in and accrued 37 hits, including 12 doubles

Silvas/Jennings Upended by Penn Pair

Seniors Kaitlyn Silvas and Michaela Jennings‘ postseason run came to an end Thursday afternoon at Kesling Park in LaPorte. Marquette’s No. 1 doubles team fell 6-3, 6-4 to Ali Kumfer and Alexis Sneslon of Penn High School in the Individual State Tournament.
