Junior Brit Harris led all scorers with 20 points, Kaden Manna secured his seventh double-double of the season, and Lukas Balling added 15 points as the Blazers ran their winning streak to nine games following a 72-46 victory over Hobart Saturday afternoon.
Manna and Balling combined for all 11 Blazer points in the opening quarter as Marquette raced out to an 11-8 advantage.
Harris came on strong in the second quarter, recording seven points to expand the Blazers’ lead to 28-15 at the intermission.
Manna, who had 10 points by halftime, was joined in double figures by Harris and Balling by the 6:59 mark of the third quarter. Harris had 11 points in the third quarter alone, thanks in large part to three treys.
Seven Blazers tallied points in the closing quarter as Marquette coasted to a 72-46 triumph.
Marquette (10-3) will aim to make it ten straight Tuesday evening versus Bowman Academy in a potential Sectional 33 preview. The Blazers and Eagles are slated to tip off at 7 pm.
