Marquette wrapped up a three-match week with a 1-1 draw at crosstown-rival Michigan City Saturday morning.
Kieran Larkin converted on a penalty kick for the Blazer goal. The sophomore racked up four shots on goal on the day to lead the offensive charge for Marquette.
Michigan City’s lone goal also came via a PK. That goal came 32 minutes into the contest.
Senior Lee Kellom was strong in goal for Marquette, collecting eight saves.
Junior Charlie O’Halloran and sophomore Ethan Irsa registered two shots on goal apiece. Alex Avery, Romeo Bui, and Connor Bakota each added one shot on net.
Marquette (0-2-1) has a week to prepare for its NWISC opener versus Covenant Christian (1-1). The Blazers and Knights are slated to clash Saturday morning at 11 am at the Marquette Athletic Complex as part of a boys/girls doubleheader.
