Marquette returned to St. Joseph County for the second time in as many days. Tuesday, they returned with a convincing 3-0 (25-5, 25-6, 25-17) sweep of host South Bend Clay.
Junior Jenna Kirby paired seven aces with 12 assists, both team highs. Classmate Mikayla Moyer added four assists and seven passes.
Sophomore Kennedy Oselka logged a team-high five kills while junior Sophia Reyna and senior Ryleigh Grott recorded four and three, respectively.
Marquette improved to 5-3 on the young season. The Blazers conclude the week Thursday at home versus Andrean. First serve of the JV contest is slated for 5 pm with varsity to follow.
