The Blazers opened a five-date road trip with a 3-0 triumph over DeMotte Christian Tuesday evening in DeMotte. Marquette took the first set 25-17 before collecting a tight 25-21 second set. The Blazers polished off the sweep with a 25-16 match-clinching third game. Tuesday equaled the team's eighth consecutive victory and boosted its record to 9-1. Marquette will take an undefeated road record into Thursday night's matchup at Westville. The Blazers and Blackhawks will kick things off with a 5:30 pm JV contest followed by varsity.
