Three Blazers accounted for 10 goals Thursday evening at East Chicago Central as Marquette posted a 10-1 victory over the Cardinals. Freshman Maeve Hadenfelt notched a hat trick before the halftime horn sounded. Junior Aggie Pezzuto and senior Layla Clemons both had two first-half goals to prime the Blazers to a 7-0 lead after 40 minutes. Pezzuto joined in the hat trick party with her third goal just two minutes into the second half. She added another one later in the frame to finish the evening with a game-high four goals. Clemons registered Marquette's final goal of the contest to become the third Blazer with at least three goals. Marquette (4-3) opens a new week Monday at DeMotte Christian when it opposes the Knights at 5 pm.
