Marquette went 2-0 Tuesday in its final test drive before postseason play commences Thursday. Senior Marissa Pleasant strung together four pars to finish at 44, earning medalist honors. Junior Alaïs Acosta combined one par and four bogeys to card a 48. Fellow junior Kenzie Bonez-Shepherd followed the same path as Acosta, finishing with a 49. Senior Ava Schultz rounded out the scoring for the Blazers with a 53. Marquette's 194 team score was enough to coast to victories over Hebron (237) and Wheeler (239) at Indian Ridge Golf Club. The Blazers will shift their focus to the IHSAA La Porte Sectional, which is slated for an 8:30 am shotgun start Thursday at Beechwood.
