Marquette and South Central went to the brink Wednesday night in Union Mills before the Blazers won 3-2 (25-12, 25-11, 22-25, 20-25, 15-10) to extend their winning streak to seven. The Blazers last claimed a five-set victory on October 18th, 2025, defeating Morgan Township 3-2 in a sectional semifinal at Washington Township. Marquette (21-3) comes home Monday evening to greet Hammond Central for Senior Night. The JV tilt is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm with a ceremony and varsity contest to follow.
