Junior Soren Christensen recorded his second hat trick of the season Thursday at River Forest as the Blazers cruised to a 5-0 win over the Ingots. Christensen struck in the opening minute of the first half to put Marquette ahead early. Fellow junior Miguel Cardoso Pereira spread the margin to 2-0 with a goal in the 40th minute. Junior Ayden Schroeder converted a PK in the second half. His tally was bookended by goals from Christensen to complete the hat trick. Senior Sean Triemstra and freshman Declan McKee split the fourth clean sheet of the season for the Blazers. Marquette (6-5-2) is back above the .500 mark and will return home Saturday to square off with Morgan Township beginning at 11 am.
