For the third straight season, Marquette's girls golf team signed its final scorecards at the IHSAA Lake Central Regional at Sandy Pines Golf Club in DeMotte. Led by Marissa Pleasant's 93, the Blazers posted a 417 team score, good for 12th place in the 15-team field. Junior McKenzie Bonez-Shepherd finished with four pars on her final five holes to record a 103. Junior Alaïs Acosta shot a 106, while senior Ava Schultz registered a 115 in her final tournament with the Blazers. Lake Central was the regional champion with a team score of 342. Chesterton (345) and Munster (349) claimed the second and third team spots, respectively. Marquette bids farewell to its three graduating seniors: Pleasant, Schultz, and Emma Kelly-Pritchard.
