Marquette steamrolled its way to a 3-0 (25-6, 25-20, 25-11) victory over visiting Hammond Central on Monday night at the Scholl Center. The Blazers honored their five graduating seniors - Olivia Hazzard, Mary Kate Sarver, Sami Schenzel, Mackenzie Snyder, Madelynn Stillman - following the JV contest. Marquette wasted no time in taking the first set 25-6 over the Wolves. Snyder recorded her 1,000th career dig in a second set that the Blazers took 25-20. They sent the home crowd home happy with a 25-11 win in the third set. The win was the team's eighth in a row and improved the Blazers' overall record to 22-3. Marquette will host Elkhart Christian Academy on Thursday evening in the final home match of the regular season. The Blazers and Eagles will kick off a JV/varsity doubleheader beginning at 5 pm CT.
