Marquette finished off its sectional championship win Saturday in the same fashion it handled much of the previous tourney: unblemished. The Blazers downed Washington Township (25-19, 25-17, 25-8) Saturday evening to polish off the program's 20th sectional crown. Marquette earned its spot in the winner-take-all tilt with the Senators after sweeping Kouts 3-0 (25-20, 25-11, 25-17) earlier in the day. Marquette (29-5) secured its fifth straight sectional championship with the victory. For the second straight October, the Blazers will meet South Newton for a trip to the IHSAA Northern Semi-State. Marquette and South Newton will clash at 1 pm ET/12 pm CT at Culver Community High School.
